Welcome!

Hello! My name is Kelsey McCann and I live in Stevensville, Montana with my husband, three kids (4, 2 and a summer ‘26 baby), and one dog. Painting has run through my blood since before I can remember. Both my maternal great grandmother and my grandfather were artists and my mom got me into art classes at a very young age. (Thanks mom!) Art has always been part of my life, but has ebbed and flowed depending on what stage of life I’m in.

I taught elementary school for 6 years until our son was born in 2021. Now, being a mom, my art has been a way to keep something for myself as well as show my kids how important this is to their mama. I’ve not done a whole lot within the last couple years, but someday I hope to get back into it. Art has always been a part of me.

I love painting things that mean something to me and to others. Growing up in Montana has given me constant inspiration to create paintings of landscapes, wild animals, trout, cattle … anything that is Montana! I’ve done many commissions, and it is so special getting to paint something that means so much to other people and that will be on their walls!
